Refund Policy
We want JingleLayer to actually work for you. If it doesn't — get your money back. The free trial is there so you can confirm the Software fits your workflow before you pay, but life happens; here is how refunds work.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee
You can request a full refund within 30 days of your first subscription payment for either Basic ($20/month) or Ultimate ($30/month), for any reason, no questions asked.
2. Recurring monthly subscriptions
Renewal payments after the first month are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
2.1 Plan changes
If you upgrade from Basic to Ultimate, the difference is prorated against the unused portion of your current Basic period — you are charged only the difference. If you later downgrade, the change applies at the start of your next billing cycle; we don't refund the difference for the remaining days of Ultimate.
3. How to request a refund
Email hello@jinglelayer.org with:
- The email address you used at checkout
- The order or transaction ID, if you have it
- (Optional) A short note on what didn't work — it helps us improve
We reply within 2 business days and process the refund within 7–10 business days. The funds appear back on your original payment method.
4. After the refund
Your license is deactivated when the refund is processed. The app continues to run on the free tier, with watermarked exports.
5. Exceptions
We may decline a refund if there is evidence of license abuse — e.g., sharing a code across many devices in a short time, or buying solely to extract and re-sell the Software.
6. EU/UK consumers
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal in addition to our 30-day guarantee. By installing and activating the Software, you acknowledge that performance begins immediately and you waive the statutory withdrawal right for the portion of the service already used — but our 30-day guarantee still applies.
